SHOCKER: Democrats Openly Admit Helping Illegal Aliens Are Their Top Priority | Drew Hernandez

A resurfaced 2024 MSNBC interview clip shows Sen. Chris Murphy telling host Chris Hayes that decades of Democratic immigration strategy have “failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country,” and the video is now going viral online.

The segment, reposted this week by the conservative account End Wokeness and amplified by outlets such as Fox News and AOL, is being used as a reminder that Democrats openly prioritize undocumented immigrants over U.S. citizens as Democrats continue to fight against funding ICE.

On X, Republican Sen. Bernie Moreno blasted the remarks as evidence that Senate Democrats are willing to use “260,000 American workers” as “political pawns” to “protect criminal aliens that invaded our nation,” calling the situation “sick stuff,” while Elon Musk labeled the clip “treachery.”

The official House Republicans account, Texas Rep. Beth Van Duyne, and other conservative figures have shared the video while accusing Democrats of caring more about “illegal aliens” than American citizens and warning voters to “believe them” when they say so.

Murphy’s critics have also connected the clip to President Trump’s recent State of the Union moment in which he asked lawmakers to stand in support of the principle that the government’s first duty is to protect American citizens, not illegal immigrants, a line that drew standing applause from Republicans while most Democrats stayed seated.
