Jagland has been charged with ‘gross corruption’, and tried to take the ‘easy way out’.

The release by the US DOJ of the ‘Epstein files’ has hit the Scandinavian Kingdom of Norway like a storm.

Besides all the damaging information that surfaced about the Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s close ties to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland found himself criminally charged for ‘gross corruption’.

But that’s not all: today, the Norwegian press was rocked by unconfirmed reports that Jagland was hospitalized a week ago after a suicide attempt.

But his attorney, Anders Brosveet of Elden Law Firm, has come forward to confirm is indeed hospitalized, but denied that any suicide attempt has taken place.

The initial report said that on 17 February, the press at the Norwegian Association of Editors and selected Norwegian editors reportedly agreed with Jagland’s lawyer Brosveet to cover up this tragic event.

iNyheter reported:

“It is on the basis of a rock-solid source that iNyheter chooses to publish what happened a week ago. According to the source, Jagland’s condition is serious. The source does not want to disclose which hospital is now treating the top politician.

On February 12, Thorbjørn Jagland was charged with gross corruption in connection with his close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. At the same time as Jagland was charged, the police carried out an extensive search of Jagland’s properties, including an apartment in Oslo and in Risør. When the police raided an apartment in Oslo, a large press corps had turned up.”

Email conversation discussing political opinions and personal plans, featuring comments about John Kerry and Donald Trump, dated June 28, 2016.

To be able to investigate this corruption case, the Økokrim, Central Unit for the Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crimes, sent a letter to the Council of Europe asking for Jagland’s immunity to be waived.

“This immunity was lifted the day before the searches took place. In the letter from Økokrim to the Council of Europe, it emerged that Jagland and his immediate family several times in the period between 2011 and 2018 used Epstein’s private apartments in Paris and New York, as well as stayed at Epstein’s villa in Palm Beach, Florida.”

However, Jagland’s lawyer has since issued a press release denying the suicide attempt reports that have taken social media by storm.

VG reported:

“Brosveet states that the admission comes as a result of the strain on Jagland in the wake of the revelations about his contact with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Brosveet also denies news reports in, among others, Inyheter and Finansavisen on Tuesday that Jagland attempted to take his own life.

‘The information that has now been made public about Jagland’s health situation does not imply accuracy’, says Brosveet in a press release the law firm has subsequently issued.”
