Woke NYC College Professor Leaves Students SHOCKED After Making a “Blatantly Racist” Comment About Black People During Meeting (VIDEO)
A liberal NYC college professor let her racist mask slip during a meeting earlier this month, sparking outrage across the city.
As The New York Times reported on Sunday, Hunter College associate professor Allyson Friedman spoke with students at a February 10 Community Education Council meeting about NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s proposal to close or relocate several schools across the Big Apple.
The meeting quickly derailed in an ugly fashion when Friedman responded to a black kid who was concerned about his school closing. What she said resembled the words of a Southern Democrat during the dark days of segregation.
“They’re too dumb to know they’re in a bad school,” Friedman is heard saying on the mic.
“If you train a black person well enough, they’ll know to use the back,” she continued. “You don’t have to tell them anymore.”
The looks on these students’ faces were complete shock and horror.

There are reports that Friedman was referring to a comment made by Reginald Higgins, the school district’s interim acting superintendent, who referenced author Carter G. Woodson.
“If you make a man think that he is justly an outcast, you do not have to order him to the back door. He will go without being told,” Woodson wrote in his 1933 book “The Mis-education of the Negro.”
This is what Friedman clearly wanted the public to believe when confronted by her racist comment.
“My complete comments make clear these abhorrent views are not my own, nor were they directed at any student or group,” she told the Times.
“I fully support these courageous students in their efforts to stop school closures,” she continued. “However, I recognize these comments caused harm and pain, while that was not my intent, I do truly apologize.”
Friedman also later tried to claim she was attempting to explain systemic racism to her own child by using an obviously racist trope as an example.
Critics did not buy her excuse, calling the remark “blatantly racist” and “outrageous.”
Hunter College has not taken any punitive action against Friedman at this point, but is currently reviewing whether her comments at a public meeting violated the school’s policies.
