WATCH: Mexican Restaurant in Arizona Goes Viral for Offering Free Meals for ICE Agents

In a bold show of support for law enforcement, Jorge Rivas, the Salvadoran immigrant owner of Sammy’s Mexican Grill in Catalina, Arizona, has announced he will give free meals to all ICE agents and federal law enforcement officers.
Rivas, who immigrated legally to the United States, emphasized that these agents “will be treated with respect as they deserve.”
The restaurant went viral after Rivas offered the free meals during an interview, which was translated into English and shared on social media.
“Everyone who works for ICE, all federal agents can come to Sammy’s Mexican Grill,” Rivas stated. “Here they will be treated with respect and as they deserve.”

Of course, not all the attention was positive.
Leftists quickly seized on the video and began attacking Rivas and the establishment, demanding a boycott.
Rivas, undeterred, accused critics of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
On the other hand, conservatives have rallied to drive business to the restaurant.
In a recent podcast appearance on “The Ray Stevens Show,” Rivas elaborated on his support for ICE, explaining that as a legal immigrant, he values the rule of law and wants to express gratitude to those enforcing it.
“I know firsthand what it means to come here the right way,” Rivas said.
Those who wish to visit the restaurant can find more information on their website.
