Don Lemon appeared in a federal court in Los Angeles on Friday. He was later released on personal recognizance bond.

According to CNN, the judge gave Don Lemon permission to travel to France in June.

Lemon’s next court appearance in federal court is February 9th.

Earlier this month, Don Lemon livestreamed as anti-ICE protestors stormed a church in St. Paul because the pastor supposedly worked for ICE.

“This is the beginning of what’s going to happen here,” Lemon said as anti-ICE protestors shouted down the pastor and harassed parishioners.

Don Lemon’s attorney Abbe Lowell claimed Lemon’s decision to storm the church was “constitutionally protected work.”
