WATCH: Jack Smith Refuses to Take Questions After GOP Lawmakers Plow Him in Judiciary Committee Hearing
Former Special Counsel Jack Smith was ambushed by reporters upon exiting the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday after he testified publicly for the first time on his political persecution of President Trump.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Jack Smith admitted that he targeted Trump with flimsy evidence that he knew was bogus, knowingly violated the law by spying on members of Congress, intentionally withheld names from Judges to obtain search warrants for GOP lawmakers, and that he wasn’t properly sworn in as Special Counsel. And it was all to stop the leading Presidential candidate from returning to the White House after the election was stolen.
President Trump responded after the hearing, calling for Jack Smith to be prosecuted for weaponizing the DOJ and for perjury. “Based on his testimony today, there is no question that Deranged Jack Smith should be prosecuted for his actions. He destroyed the lives of many innocent people, which has been his history as a prosecutor,” Trump said on Truth Social following Smith’s testimony.
