WATCH: Police Release Never-Before-Seen Bodycam Footage of Iryna Zarutska’s Killer Decarlos Brown Screaming at Cops About a Foreign Substance Controlling Him

Police officers engage with an individual in a parking lot at night, highlighting a community safety interaction.

Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska murdered by 34-year-old Decarlos Brown Jr. on a light rail train in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police released bodycam footage of Iryna Zarutksa’s killer, Decarlos Brown, claiming he is being controlled by a mysterious foreign substance.

The never-before-seen footage from a January 2025 welfare check shows a totally unhinged Decarlos Brown screaming at police about a foreign substance in his body.

Brown, who called 911 at least twice that night, repeatedly told police that he believed a “man-made material” had been put inside of his body.

A police officer asked Brown if he had ever been diagnosed with an illness.

“They tried to diagnose me with schizophrenia, but what the f*ck is that?” Brown told the officer.

The officer asked Brown if he was taking any medication, to which he replied, “Man, no!”

“Why would I take any type of medicine if my body got exposed to ”man-made materials?” Brown said.

Several months later, Decarlos Brown went on to murder Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska.
