Team Trump has issued an instant classic response to the arrest of Don Lemon this morning that is going viral on social media.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Lemon was arrested for actions earlier this month inside a St. Paul church.
He was covering the Grammy awards on Thursday night when federal agents took him into custody. He is facing conspiracy against rights charges and violation of the FACE Act.
Lemon’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, fumed as he announced his client’s arrest, calling it an “unprecedented attack on the First Amendment and transparent attempt to distract attention from the many crises facing this administration will not stand.”
When The Trump White House got wind of Lemon’s arrest, the response did not disappoint.
Team Trump issued this reply on X, which will ring familiar to TGP readers:
“When life gives you lemons…” the post reads while showing a photo of Lemon below, noting his arrest.
