Morrow works for the Jackson County Public Library, which means taxpayer dollars were used to broadcast this assassination threat.

WOWK notes that authorities interpreted this message as advocating for Trump’s assassination and placed Morrow under arrest. She was charged Monday with one count of threats of terroristic acts.

Morrow also reportedly admitted to making the post and confirmed it was directed at the 45th and 47th president.

She did, however, attempt to cover her tracks by saying she had no intention to carry out her threat against Trump.

Sheriff Ross Mellinger had an essential and colorful message for Morrow and anyone else who mouths off on social media about killing public officials.

“When you saddle up on the horse of stupidity, you have to be prepared for the ride that follows,” Mellinger told WOWK. “We’re just trying to do our part in making sure that it’s not acted upon, and there’s no one that’s following her footsteps to try to carry out the plan.”

“It’s okay to be critical of the government. It’s okay to be critical of things you disagree with,” he added, “but when you start promoting the violence, and you’re promoting a plan to carry out the violence and recruiting other people to carry out the plan for you, that’s clearly crossing the line.”

Following Morrow’s arrest, the Jackson County Library released the following statement:
