In Davos and in Moscow, a day of peace negotiations.

While the eyes of the world have just gone from Venezuela and the US arrest of dictator Nicolas Maduro to focusing almost exclusively on Greenland, the Ukraine war is ongoing – and so are the peace efforts.

In fact, now that Euro-Globalists are enraged with the threats of sanctions and military operation in Greenland, maybe they are distracted enough so as to not be able to disrupt the peace process, as is their wont.

Today will be a hectic day, with President Donald J. Trump meeting Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky in Davos, Switzerland, while his envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner fly to Moscow to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Politico reported:

“The president’s meeting with Zelenskyy is scheduled to take place after a Gaza Board of Peace event in Davos and follows bilateral meetings on Wednesday with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and the leaders of Poland, Belgium and Egypt.

The meeting comes amid an apparent standstill in negotiations. Russia has continued to pound Ukraine’s energy infrastructure with missiles and drones barrages. Electricity in Kyiv is inconsistent and with this winter turning into an exceptionally frigid one — with temperatures dropping below minus 20 degrees Celsius — there’s mounting worry in Kyiv about how the country can persevere without much greater assistance from Western allies, including the United States, when it comes to air defense.”

In the meantime, U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are set to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow at night to discuss a potential peace deal to end the four-year war with Ukraine.

FOX News reported:

″’[There’s been] lots of progress in the last six to eight weeks’, Witkoff told CNBC, referring to a possible peace deal between Russia and Ukraine.

When asked about whether he believed Putin would come to a deal to end the war, Witkoff told CNBC that he is optimistic and has a ‘sense that everybody wants a peace there, that it’s time’.”

The Kremlin also confirmed the meeting to Russian state media outlet TASS.

“’We expect such a meeting tomorrow; it’s on the president’s schedule’, the spokesperson reportedly said. ‘It will take place tomorrow’.”

This will be Witkoff and Kushner’s second meeting with Putin in Moscow, after a five-hour meeting in December.

“Representatives of the U.S. and Russia held talks in Davos, Switzerland, where world leaders are gathered for the World Economic Forum, according to Reuters, which added that Washington’s envoys also met with Ukrainian and European leaders. Envoys for Putin and Trump said the talks were ‘very positive’ and ‘constructive’.”
