12-YEAR-OLD ILLEGAL ALIEN ARRESTED for TWO Violent Armed Robberies in Florida — Child Now Placed on ICE Hold

Florida authorities have arrested a 12-year-old illegal alien in connection with two violent armed robberies that terrorized children in a Lee County neighborhood
According to a report from local outlet Golfcoast News Now, deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded on December 12 to two separate armed robbery calls within minutes of each other, both allegedly committed by the same suspect: Pedro Luis, age 12.
The first incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. as a juvenile victim was walking from Schandler Hall Park to a friend’s house. Deputies say Luis jumped out of nearby bushes, pointed a knife at the victim, and demanded, “Give me your shoes.”
When the victim pushed back and fled, they felt an object strike their back before escaping. By the time they turned around, the suspect had disappeared.
Just six minutes later, at approximately 6:46 p.m., deputies were called back to Schandler Hall Park for another armed robbery.
This time, a victim reported that Luis approached them on a bicycle, brandished a knife, and threatened to stab them if they resisted while stealing a backpack.
The stolen backpack was valued at $90 and contained:
- AirPods worth approximately $140
- Cologne valued at $150
- A school-issued Dell laptop
- Cash and clothing totaling an additional $50
In a shocking detail, deputies say Luis later posted on social media with the stolen backpack, partially covering his face. The post was reportedly deleted after the crime.
Both victims positively identified Luis in a photo lineup, according to investigators.
On Friday, deputies arrested Luis at his residence and transported him to the Lee County Jail for processing. Authorities confirmed that an immigration hold has been placed, meaning U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been notified.
ICE typically places holds when a person is believed to be:
- Unlawfully present in the United States, or
- A non-citizen whose lawful status has expired, been violated, or is otherwise in question.
Luis now faces two felony counts of armed robbery.
