President Trump Issues Response to Vanity Fair Hit Piece Which Claims Susie Wiles Made a Pointed Remark About Him

President Trump is not sweating the supposed remark that White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles made about him and others in the Administration in a recent interview.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Wiles allegedly described Trump as having “an alcoholic’s personality.” Yes, she supposedly compared HER BOSS to a drunkard when he has never had a sip of alcohol in his life!
But there’s more. Vanity Fair also claims she went on to reportedly call the brilliant Vance a “conspiracy theorist for more than a decade” who converted to Trumpism based on pure politics rather than principle.
It should be noted that Wiles has called the article a “disingenuously framed hit piece.”
Here’s her full response:
The article published early this morning is a disingenuously framed hit piece on me and the finest President, White House staff, and Cabinet in history.
Significant context was disregarded and much of what I, and others, said about the team and the President was left out of the story. I assume, after reading it, that this was done to paint an overwhelmingly chaotic and negative narrative about the President and our team.
The truth is the Trump White House has already accomplished more in eleven months than any other President has accomplished in eight years and that is due to the unmatched leadership and vision of President Trump, for whom I have been honored to work for the better part of a decade.
None of this will stop our relentless pursuit of Making America Great Again!
During an interview with the New York Post, Trump did not take the alleged remark Wiles made about him as an insult. In fact, he admitted to having a “very possessive” personality.
“No, she meant that I’m — you see, I don’t drink alcohol. So everybody knows that — but I’ve often said that if I did, I’d have a very good chance of being an alcoholic. I have said that many times about myself, I do. It’s a very possessive personality,” Trump told the Post.
“I’ve said that many times about myself. I’m fortunate I’m not a drinker. If I did, I could very well, because I’ve said that — what’s the word? Not possessive — possessive and addictive type personality. Oh, I’ve said it many times, many times before,” he added.
Trump went on to tell the Post that he agrees the Vanity Fair article was a total hit job and Wiles’s remarks were taken out of context.
“I didn’t read it, but I don’t read Vanity Fair — but she’s done a fantastic job,” Trump said.
“I think from what I hear, the facts were wrong, and it was a very misguided interviewer, purposely misguided.”
Trump also said he had complete confidence in Wiles, calling her “fantastic.”
“If anybody knows the interviewer, and if they know Vanity Fair, Vanity Fair is a totally — it’s lost its way. It’s also lost its readers, as you know. No, she’s fantastic,” Trump said to the Post.
