WATCH: Crockett Launches Senate Campaign By Posting Bizarre Compilation of Trump Repeatedly Calling Her ‘Low IQ’

Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett on Monday announced her run for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Republican John Cornyn.
And she’s off to a great start.
The Texas Democrat kicked off her campaign by posting a compilation of President Trump insulting her and repeatedly calling her ‘low IQ’ – and Crockett’s decision to highlight Trump’s insults proves his point.
What a great strategy!
Politics 101: Don’t draw attention to negative statements made by your political foes when you announce a run for office.
Someone should tell Low-IQ Jasmine Crockett this.
The campaign video begins with Crockett looking off screen as Trump repeatedly insults her and calls her low IQ and then she turns directly to the camera and smiles.
“Crockett for US Senate” appears on screen after the Trump audio cuts off.

Later Monday, Crockett held a campaign launch event in Dallas and it was a total disaster.
“There’s a responsibility that lies with all of us, especially in this moment,” Crockett said.
“There are a lot of people that said, ‘You gotta stay in the House. We need your voice. We need you there.’ And I understand, but what we need is for me to have a bigger voice. What we need is not only a voice, but we need to make sure that we are going to stop all the hell that is raining down on all of our people,” she said.
One point the 44-year-old Democrat began crying and told her supporters that she is the next Barack Obama.
