The family of a 27-year-old illegal alien, arrested in Vancouver, Washington, on Thursday, claims that ICE agents ran over his leg, which the Department of Homeland Security has denied. 

Vancouver police are reportedly investigating the incident.

Bystander video from Jose Paniagua Calderon’s arrest appears to show that the SUV may have run over his foot. If this were the case, perhaps he should have moved his foot from under the car before it began to move.

Calderon can then be heard screaming like a maniac.

But DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin called his screaming a “Oscar-level performance,” revealing that “He walked around normally immediately after without issue and received a full medical evaluation including multiple X rays that showed ZERO fractures, dislocations or injures.”

She added, “Never happened. ICE did NOT run over this illegal alien’s leg. Pure theatre. No Injury.”

A GoFundMe page for the alien describes the incident as “traumatic” and claims that he was “severely injured” after ICE “boxed his car in, shattered his window, and threw him on the ground.

“Defenseless, they still decided to run over his leg. The screams that followed will forever haunt us. It tore our hearts apart. No human being deserves to suffer like that. The video shows his leg twist, and his face fills with pain and agony,” the message continues, claiming that he now “desperately needs” medical care.

My name is Carmen, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my family and my brother-in-law, Jose Paniagua Calderón, who is currently in critical need of medical and legal support after a traumatic incident in Vancouver, Washington.
Jose is a hardworking young man with a good heart and no history of legal issues. On December 4th, our lives changed when a confrontation with ICE resulted in Jose being severely injured. Bystander videos show how ICE boxed his car in, shattered his window, and threw him on the ground. Defenseless, they still decided to run over his leg. The screams that followed will forever haunt us. It tore our hearts apart. No human being deserves to suffer like that. The video shows his leg twist, and his face fills with pain and agony. Sadly, it didn’t end there. They denied him immediate medical care and forcibly shoved him inside their vehicle instead.
Since then, our family has been left without clear answers about his condition, location, or whether he received the medical care he desperately needs. We have been searching hospital to hospital and are now fighting to make sure he is safe and treated with dignity.
We are raising funds to cover medical needs, legal assistance, travel, and anything required to protect Jose and ensure justice is done. This situation has deeply shaken our family, and we are doing everything in our power to bring clarity, truth, and support for him.

The suspect’s brother spoke out on the incident, claiming that they “can’t get any answers.”

After ICE officers applied wrist restraints, Paniagua launched into an Oscar-level performance, dramatically screaming while officers simply moved his vehicle off the roadway.

He walked around normally immediately after without issue and received a full medical evaluation including multiple X rays that showed ZERO fractures, dislocations or injures.
