BREAKING: DOJ to Hit Comey, Letitia James with New Indictments As Soon as This Week

The DOJ is seeking new indictments against James Comey and Letitia James after a Clinton judge dismissed both of their cases last week.
A grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia indicted former FBI Director James Comey in September. He was indicted on two counts – false statements and obstruction of a congressional proceeding.
New York Attorney General Letitia James was indicted by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia last month.
According to the DOJ, Letitia James was charged with two crimes: Bank Fraud under 18 U.S.C. Section 1344 and False Statements to a Financial Institution under 18 U.S.C. Section 1014.
On Monday evening Reuters reported that the Justice Department could seek the new charges this week.
Per Reuters:
The U.S. Justice Department is weighing seeking new indictments against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, after a federal judge dismissed both cases last week, according to two people familiar with the matter.
The department could seek new charges against Comey and James as soon as this week, though the timing was not yet clear, the people added, speaking anonymously in order to discuss non-public department deliberations.
A federal judge last Monday dismissed the criminal cases against James Comey and Letitia James.
The case was dismissed without prejudice, which means it is only dismissed temporarily.
Judge Cameron McGowan Currie, a Clinton appointee, ruled that US Attorney Lindsey Halligan’s appointment violated the Appointments Clause of the Constitution.
The judge also said Attorney General Pam Bondi’s attempt to ratify Halligan’s actions were “ineffective.”
Comey did somewhat of a victory lap after the judge’s ruling. He also lashed out at President Trump and accused him of weaponizing the Justice Department to go after his political enemies.
“A message has to be sent that the president of the United States cannot use the Department of Justice to target his political enemies,” Comey said in a video posted to Instagram.
“I don’t care what your politics are, you have to see that as fundamentally un-American and a threat to the rule of law that keeps all of us free,” James Comey said.
Comey said President Trump will probably go after him again.
President Trump issued a warning to Comey and Letitia James last week in remarks to reporters aboard Air Force One.
“They got out on a technicality, and you’ll see what happens from here on,” Trump said Tuesday night in remarks to reporters aboard Air Force One.
“Let’s see what happens over the next week,” he said.
