WATCH: Far-Left Dem Congressional Candidate in Tennessee Turns into a Bumbling Mess After MSNOW Exposes Her Old and Disgusting Anti-Police Tweets

A Tennessee Democrat hoping to score a massive upset in a deep-red congressional seat next week learned the hard way that the Internet never forgets long-ago words and those came back to haunt her in a big way last night.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Aftyn Behn currently serves as a Democrat representative for Tennessee’s 51st House District and is running in a special election for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District.
In a unique approach to campaigning, Behn has been ensuring that constituents, including those in Nashville, understand her stance on the city, its residents, and the industries that generate millions in revenue. She hates them.
Now, it has been revealed that her disdain extends to those who protect Nashville residents every day: the police.
Behn appeared on MSNOW’s (formerly MSNBC) “The Weekend: Primetime” on Sunday night to discuss next Tuesday’s special election. While on the show, she was caught completely off guard when an MSNOW anchor revealed that Behn previously made several despicable, since-deleted anti-police tweets during the George Floyd riots back in the Summer of 2020.
In one post, Behn called for burning down police stations.

In other posts revealed by MSNOW, she called for defunding the police.
Behn was given three opportunities to retract her comments, and each time, she turned into a bumbling mess.

Holy crap, the Democrat nominee for Tennessee’s 7th district — parts of Nashville, Franklin & beyond, my congressional district — called for shutting down Nashville’s police department & burning down police stations. Go vote for Matt Van Epps on Monday: pic.twitter.com/lNaR30e91N

MSNOW: Representative, in 2020, you made some tweets that have since been deleted that were very critical of police.
You said in those since-deleted tweets that the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department should be dissolved, another cheered on a teachers’ union that said “defund the police” should be a requirement for schools reopening, and another said, Good morning, especially to the 54% of Americans that believe that burning down a police station is justified.
Do you still stand by those comments, and if not, is there anything you want to clarify?
BEHN: Um, Um, I’m not going to get into cable news talking points, but what I will say is that, um, our communities need solutions. We need local people deciding, uh, solving local problems with local solutions.
Um, and that’s not the overreach of the federal government and state government of which we are dealing with in Nashville and our cities across the state of Tennessee.
MSNOW: So you don’t want to clarify whether you think the police should still be defunded?
BEHN: Once again, I don’t remember these tweets. What I’m saying is that, um…
MSNOW: What is your position now?
BEHN: Once again, I’m here to talk about my race, which is, uh, in literally nine days
