WATCH: Shocking Video Confirms Police Knew Kids Were Alive In The Uvalde School During Horrific Massacre
New footage revealed that cops knew that injured children were alive inside the Texas elementary school classroom where 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos opened fire and killed 21.
According to CNN, which made the clip public on Tuesday, the video was originally shared on Facebook Live and showed the chaotic scene outside Robb Elementary school as Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents spoke to an injured child during the shooting. It is unclear why CBP agents were able to hear the police chatter in the radio feed, but what is heard is disturbing.
“Are you injured?” the agent asked the child, who responded, “I got shot!”
“A kid got shot? A Kid?” an adult is heard exclaiming as the child’s voice cuts out.
The newly released video contradicts claims that Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Col. Steven McCraw made during a news briefing on Friday.
McCraw repeatedly alleged police waited to enter the building because the incident commander had considered the shooter as “a barricaded subject and that there was time, and there were no more children at risk.”
The person who captured the video has decided to remain anonymous at this time, but wanted to make sure that the public was able to assess the truth of the events for themselves.
